I was in a dark place in my life for quite some time. I decided it was time to self improve but I needed some help to steer my mind and habits to create a healthier lifestyle for me. After trying 3 different therapists, my hope in getting help was diminishing. I found friendly professionals to speak with but I struggled to share anything. When I came across Lauren on Psychology Today, I liked her specialty in trauma and that she is also a life coach. I decided to give her a chance and I am glad I did. I found myself
very comfortable and immediately opened up.

The only thing stopping you from getting what you want is you. Lauren helped me to create boundaries for myself in so many aspects of my life and they translate in my life so positively. I learned what I am passionate for and how to also have a wonderful and better relationship with my significant other.

A year later after working with Lauren, I am stronger, confident, and happier with the choices I make. I stick to my values that help me stay true to myself and others. Lauren is trained in several forms of therapeutic techniques and will patiently work with you to see what approach works best for you. I started our sessions with EMDR to help overcome the traumatic experience of being at the Route 91 shooting. Progress was made but then we did Brainspotting to help mitigate my triggers and reduce psychological symptoms. At first it was hard for me to validate my
emotions but after putting in some work, I wanted to dive deeper into my internal battles. My favorite approach was Parts and Memory which helped me clear up a lot in a few sessions.

Lauren is gifted in what she does but it is also up to you to make the choice to heal. Healing takes a little bit of effort and work but the power in overcoming the challenges of the mind is worth everything.
